Actually, I'm at work and doing research.... and my coffee just split!!! *licks cup*
So what am I researching? Haven't a clue but it has to go in the touch trolley at work so I thought I'd do any of the following:
* Spiders
* Hoatzin (it's a ugly bird)
* Okapi
* Tassy Tiger (lets be scientifically correct, Thylacine)
* Something that looks like a giant sea wornm and I cannot remember the name of it!
Bugger it! I'll look later. I like the idea of a sea worm or the Tassy Tiger Thylacine.

sexy_brilliance. I can see it in my head but the bastard doesn't want to come out. Wrote my first story for 100quills. Very pleased with it... sorta actually.
8 days till I get on a plane for Perth!!!
Cannot wait because it's my little sister's birthday and I get to wear a whole new wardrobe which is nothing exciting except new Con's and jeans. Have alot of issues to straighten out when I get home too which makes the trip fugly.
Would rather not deal with peoples crap on such a happy and rare occasion.

Went to the doctors today. Got my ear checked out again (5th ear infection this year!). I've also been feeling run down lately; home sickness, a bout of insomina, depression and the fact my brain doesn't like to switch off. (God bless all artistic minds!) I tell her all this after I get my ears checked.
I asks her, "T'is okay to be getting only 4 hours sleep every night? My brain is constantly thinking of things for me to do."
"No." She says. "How long have you been sleeping like this?"
"Since I started working full time and left art school." I reply.
"When was that?"
I reply. "2001."
She didn't seem impressed at my answer. It's been normal for me for quite some time. I use to paint and draw until the sun came up now I write until I have to work. She gave me Valerin Root tablets (All natural) for my sleeping problem, anti-biotics for my frigging ear and Sudafed for my blocked sinuses which led me to her in the first place!
My homesickness is about to be cured by next week when I go home for my sister's birthday. I doubt I'll last two days before I'm asking my father to drive me to the airport to get away from my crazy family. Chaos is ensured!
Watched Dr Who and drooled over David Tennant.... but what's new?

Had an excellent dream about my Rabastan Lestrange lastnight, smut riddled but I kept calling him Hans (the guy who should play Rabastan if they cast him) and he told me off.

First off, I'm addicted to anything HP so I thought I'd chuck in a quiz. I always saw myself as a Hufflepuff and more like Hermione but after taking the quiz three times... I'm Harry Bloody Potter. Borrowed from argosy

Had a bit of a bad day, got rejected by two credit card companies and a application form still being processed by another. They don't seem to want to give it to me... heck I'm 25, it'll be my first credit card and most of my friends have been in debt since they were 19. When people tell you that "You should be glad you don't have one!"....... ARRRGGGHHH, it's so condesending in a way. You think, that their going to think (:P) that your going to go on some massive shopping spree; I need it for bills and emergency plane tickets to get home. That's all..... but everyone says that.
Maybe I'm taking this too seriously.

Something else I thought I'd add. A bit of comedy to lighten the mood. It may have swearing in it... I cannot remember but just warming you in case. It's the Blackadder Shakespeare sketch with a very young and handsome Hugh Laurie.

What a relaxing weekend I just had. I'll give you a quick run down.
Friday: NAIDOC March.
My maiden voyage into this event. I always celebrated it but never went to the marches. It was great, talked to a couple of friends and made some new ones. Got a free shirt too!
Went home and got a lovely chicken sandwich at the cafe up the road and read for the rest of the day.
Saturday: Slept till 2 pm but it didn't help that I went to bed a 4am earlier. Watched my new dvd of The Extra's for some yummy Stephen Merchant goodness; laughed my arse off. Watched the new Dr Who so I could perve on David Tennant. Went and got some movies and then proceeded to fall asleep in front of the fire.
Sunday: Slept til 12 pm. Watched more of The Extra's, knitted a new scarf, watched my new Sponge Bob Squarepants dvd and made a yummy stew. Forgot to watch the David Attenborough doco.
